The WI is the largest woman's organisation in the country. It gives women an opportunity to make an impact on their communities, influence local, national and world issues that affect social, economical and environmental issues reflecting on family life. So not just Jam and Jerusalem and cups of tea! The WI has many layers. It can be just tea and talk in a friendly environment with the added opportunity to learn new skills or just interesting facts from the speakers, or you can become involved in current issues. Enjoy it on what ever level you feel comfortable with. Visitors always welcome.
